Responsibilities

Allison M. Coleman is Vice President, Institutional Sales for NexGen Capital Advisors, LLC, NexGen Capital Consultants, LLC and NexGen Capital Investors, LLC (collectively, NexGen Affiliates) and is responsible for selling all of the products and services for the NexGen Affiliates.

Experience

Ms. Coleman has more than 10 years of experience in global strategy, marketing and technology-based solution sales with large corporations and non-profit institutions.  She most recently served as Vice President, Senior Sales Representative, Corporate and Institutional Services, with The Northern Trust Company, where she cultivated and managed all C-Suite relationships for her designated non-profit institutions.

Prior to The Northern Trust Company, Ms. Coleman served as Vice President, Institutional Sales with JP Morgan Chase & Co., in their Worldwide Securities Services division.  Ms. Coleman was recruited to focus on increasing the bank’s asset servicing and asset management visibility to enhance the leadership of the bank with tax-exempt institutions.

Ms. Coleman’s previous experience also includes serving as Director, Sales and Relationship Management, within the Financial Institutions Group of Royal Bank of Canada.  In that role, Ms. Coleman represented the Toronto headquarters of the bank in a new business development and relationship management role with all foreign banks in the United States.

Education

Ms. Coleman holds a BA degree in English and history from Trent University, a BA degree in education from Queen’s University and an MEd degree in administration from the University of Toronto.

Certifications

Ms. Coleman is Series 7 and 66 licensed.

Civic and Professional Involvement

Ms. Coleman is a member of the Fundraising Committee for the People’s Music School and serves as a member of Room to Read, Chicago Chapter.  Ms. Coleman is also a member of the Evening Associates group of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Canadian Club of Chicago and The Fairway Network.
