Responsibilities

Grafton B. Bowers, Jr. is Manager of Accounting and Information Systems for NexGen Capital Advisors, LLC, NexGen Capital Consultants, LLC and NexGen Capital Investors, LLC (collectively, NexGen Affiliates) and is responsible for the day-to-day accounting and information systems activities.

Experience

Mr. Bowers has more than 16 years of experience in every aspect of strategy, design and implementation of operational and financial metrics, along with expertise in all professional office operating systems, hardware and software.  He most recently served in the role of Accounting Consultant with Robert Half International Inc. (Robert Half).

Prior to Robert Half, Mr. Bowers served as Director of Programs for Rescue Outreach Mission in Sanford, Florida, where he was involved in the business planning and analysis processes, as well as the analysis of existing resources and enhanced fundraising.

Previously, he served as a Financial Business Analyst for the City of Daytona Beach, Florida, where he developed and implemented operational and financial metrics, as well as the annual budget and financial forecasting.  Mr. Bowers has also held various other financial and information systems roles including Project Manager for Adventist Health System, Technology Analyst and Accountant II for KPMG LLP and Accounting Assistant II for Georgia Pacific Corporation.

Education

Mr. Bowers holds a BS degree in accounting from DeVry University and an MBA degree in business administration, an MPM degree in project management and an MISM degree in information systems management from the Keller Graduate School of Management.

Civic and Professional Involvement

Mr. Bowers is a member of the Board of Directors for Holy Sanctuary Community Church in Chicago, Illinois.
