Responsibilities

Nancy A. Null is Vice President, Marketing and Communications for NexGen Capital Advisors, LLC, NexGen Capital Consultants, LLC and NexGen Capital Investors, LLC (collectively, NexGen Affiliates) and is responsible for directing all marketing and communications activities.

Experience

Ms. Null has more than 15 years of marketing and communications experience in the investment community including the areas of corporate finance, financial services, and merger and acquisition advisory services.  She has in-depth experience with strategic marketing, capital markets communications, global marketing and brand management.  She most recently served as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the GE Global Sponsor Finance and GE Antares Capital divisions of the GE Capital Corporation where she developed and led an integrated marketing and communications platform.  Ms. Null previously held the position of Vice President and Director of Marketing for the Corporate Finance group at Heller Financial, Inc.

Prior to Heller Financial, Inc., Ms. Null was Director of Marketing for Alaron Trading Corporation (Alaron Trading).  While at Alaron Trading, she developed, implemented and provided thought leadership on new marketing, sales and product development initiatives.  She has also held other marketing roles at First Options of Chicago, Inc. and Burns International, Inc.

Ms. Null began her career as an institutional sales professional at Discount Corporation of New York and Crédit Agricole S.A.

Education

Ms. Null received a BA degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA degree in marketing from The Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

Civic and Professional Involvement

Ms. Null is a board member and fundraiser for the Women’s Board of the American Cancer Society.  She also serves on the marketing board for the Association for Corporate Growth Chicago.
